The rest of the nursery is devoted to 3 separate rooms for young babies, pre-toddlers and toddlers. Each room is equipped to a high standard with activities and equipment which are appropriate to the age and capabilities for the children. Each room has an experienced and qualified room supervisor who will always be based in that room and will be supported by other staff who will remain static in the room for significant periods of time to ensure that the continuity of care is maintained.
The safety and well being of your children is paramount and we endeavour to work closely with parents, as the primary carers, to ensure that at all times children are well cared for. Each child is an individual so the nursery routines are very flexible so that each childs needs are considered and met. Open evenings are held twice a year to give parents a chance to discuss with staff their child's progress but parents are encouraged to speak to staff if they have any concerns at any time. Children are supervised at all times.
Morning sessions are from 8am to 1pm and include breakfast [before 8.30am and these must be booked], a healthy snack mid morning and a cooked lunch.
Afternoon sessions are from 1pm to 6pm and include afternoon tea.
All day sessions are from 8am to 6pm
Any child booked into the nursery is offered two introductory visits prior to starting so that he/she becomes accustomed to the room and staff. parents are encouraged to join their child for the first visit so that they to can establish a relationship with the staff their child will be seeing on a daily basis.
