About Us

Childcare Directory was founded by Elizabeth Debenham. After leaving her last nursery Elizabeth decided she would like to start her own venture and identifying a need for a quick and simple way for parents to be able to find childcare without being bombarded with adverts, and building on the internet experience she already had from helping her husband Eric, Childcare Directory was born.

Elizabeth has 15 years experience in the childcare sector being a manager of several nurseries and is a fully qualified Montessori Teacher. She has extensive knowledge of the Ofsted standards and regulations, childcare vouchers, grant funding and early years education. She has a young daughter, Jessica, and her loving husband Eric runs a web design company Oyster Web Design. So she is never far away from any technical advice or help that she needs!

It is our intention to list every daycare nursery throughout the UK and provide a platform for nurseries to be able to promote themselves to parents looking for childcare provision.
